Introduction
| The International College on Photonics and Applications (ICPA) is the annual event organized by the Institute of Physics to
give the participants the opportunity to interact with established researchers in the field and up to date information on forefront research
in photonics and its applications through their lectures. This year our ICPA 2011 school will focus on the topic of Laser remote sensing
and especially the LIDAR technology, which has recently been actively pursued in Vietnam.
